  Each situation draws upon a broad base of experience in strategic sales and marketing, corporate planning and financial targeting combined with extensive team coaching in systems efficiency and innovation.

Semi-Bulk, Inc.    

A spin-off of Monsanto, oversaw the repositioning of this manufacturer of engineered processing equipment for in-line blending of powder and liquid materials.  Shifted the product offering from $1 million custom built systems to a standardized platform with value-added options, thereby, reducing internal overhead expenses and simplifying the sales process for the international dealer network.  Gross sales increased.  Redirected the target market to the Fortune 500 including such firms as Kraft Foods, General Mills and Coca-Cola with deliveries to the USA, Europe and China.  Sales office located in Belgium. Returned to multiple year profitability and sold firm.

Joined this national publisher of educational software for 12 month project. In very competitive environment for K-12 grades (No Child Left Behind) oversaw the reorganization of distribution channels (dealer and direct), developed new web-based strategies and promotion mix, realigned the marketing department and assisted in extensive corporate restructuring and funding negotiations.

Orchestrated a comprehensive reorganization and repositioning of this 80-year old custom manufacturer of presentation products in a market where 50% of the competition went out of business during a two-year period.  Rebuilt national distribution channels and repackaged entire promotion mix including web-based strategies.  One-to-one marketing campaigns developed for top twenty mega-dealers.  Product shipped to the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Company gained recognition as one of top three suppliers in industry resulting in sale to a competitor.

Enterprise Fleets Inc. (Enterprise Rent-A-Car)

Developed the corporate strategy and oversaw growth of Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s first national division – commercial leasing.  Recruited the national sales force from outside the industry, built the marketing plan and created a cutting-edge product offering.  Oversaw 30% annual increase in revenues ($6 million to $100 million) and directed the Systems 2000 marketplace analysis resulting in a restructuring of entire $300 million leasing company.
